New Year's Eve in Rocco Forte Hotel de Rome
Berlin – Every year, people from all over the world flock to Berlin on New Year's Eve to welcome in the New Year in style. To mark the turn of the year 2008/09, the Rocco Forte Hotel de Rome on Bebelplatz in the historic heart of the Berlin, just 10 minutes from the Brandenburger Tor, will once again be offering exclusive highlights to celebrate this special night.
Exclusive New Year's Eve - Arrangement in co-operation
with the State Opera House Unter den Linden
Once again this year, Rocco Forte Hotel de Rome will be teaming up with the neighbouring State Opera House on New Year's Eve.
A four-course gala menu will be served in Hotel de Rome's historic Palm Court ballroom following Beethoven's brilliant 9th Symphony conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. The first three courses will be served before midnight. Then the guests can go up to the magnificent roof terrace with a glass of champagne to watch as fireworks go up all over Berlin to greet the New Year. Afterwards, coffee and a dessert buffet await in the Opera Court. Here, you can relax and enjoy the first hours of the New Year or party in the Bebel Bar into the small hours. The band Earth to Earth and a choice of unusual cocktails will get the party going.
The package, including a four-course menu with drinks to accompany the meal, one glass of champagne at midnight and a category 1 ticket for the State Opera House concert, is available at 348 euros.
The luxury hotel on Bebelplatz has an additional offer for out of town guests - two nights in a Classic double room, including our sumptuous breakfast buffet, at a special price of 720 euros.
Kick off New Year's Eve

Head Chef Raffaele Cannizzaro has created an exquisite à la carte menu, which will be served from 5 pm until 7.30 pm in Restaurant Parioli for all those who want to celebrate New Year with a visit to one of the many magnificent concerts or opera performances. The timing is ideal for the prefect start to your New Year's Eve celebrations.

The most fitting prelude to New Year's Eve - guests can enjoy a top-class 5 course gala menu with wines to accompany from 8 pm. Lobster salad, tortelli with Norcia truffles, beef fillet with foie gras shavings - these are just some of the dishes you can enjoy.
New Year itself is celebrated on the roof terrace. Champagne glass in hand, guests can watch as fireworks go off all over Berlin to welcome in 2009. Guests can then party on into the small hours in the Bebel Bar with unusual cocktails to the accompaniment of live music from the band "Earth to Earth".

To get you in the mood for the night's partying ahead, the Spa de Rome is offering the "Pretty Woman" luxury pamper package. It starts with a revitalising, rejuvenating honey-jasmine face pack from The Organic Pharmacy's 100% organic range and is followed by a luxury manicure. This is then rounded off with a gala evening make-up session from Organic Glam. Accompanied by a glass of champagne and strawberries in chocolate.
